Operating Principle of Cold Air Drying:

Cold air drying is a process of forcibly circulating low-temperature & low-humidity air among foods to gradually reduce their water content until the foods are dried. The low-temperature & low-humidity air continuously absorbs the surface moisture of the foods during forcible circulation; the saturated air passes through an evaporator, the surface temperature of the evaporator is reduced to be less than the dew-point temperature of the air due to the evaporation of refrigerants in the evaporator, the air is cooled and separated from moisture after passing through the evaporator, and the separated moisture is discharged out of the warehouse body through a water collector; then the low-temperature & low-humidity air enters a condenser, and is heated to form dry air because a high-temperature gaseous refrigerant from a compressor flows in the condenser; and then the dry air is mixed with the saturated air to form the low-temperature & low-humidity air for overturn recirculation. The foods dried by a cold air dryer can keep their original quality, and are more convenient to package, store and transport.

Application: It is widely applied to dehydration and drying of aquatic products and other agricultural productions such as pneumatophorus japonicus, butterflyfishes, sardines, small yellow croaker, squids, mallotusvillosus, capelins, shrimps, shellfishes, sea cucumbers, shark fins, etc.
